This is an advanced kick up drill, if you can’t do this, don’t worry about it. Continue to work on more basic kick up drills. Check out our YouTube channel to see these. If you’re confident in your kick ups, get some music playing and work on your rhythm and control. This will improve your weight of touch and awareness.

Drill 1
Begin by working on your dominant foot. Do two small kick ups and one higher kick up.

Drill 2
Switch over to your less dominant foot and work on the same rhythm.

Drill 3
Only once you’ve got at least one set down on each foot, should you move onto switch kick ups.
